I had a cozy stay at the hotel, perfect for my needs as a solo traveler wanting a room above the restaurant with two beds, a sofa, and a TV in the en-suite bathroom. The service was top-notch without being intrusive, especially when the pleasant staff member recommended the excellent value sirloin and house wine deal. The location was ideal right in the heart of Melrose, allowing me to explore the town easily, although parking on-site was not available. The dining experience was varied but could have been improved as some items seemed kept warm too long. Overall, the hotel provided a decent stay with a few minor areas for enhancement.
